Elisabetta Severi is a Research Assistant at the Université Catholique de Louvain. She has a background in Economics obtained between Italy (Luiss Guido Carli University, Rome), The Netherlands (Maastricht University, Maastricht) and Belgium (Université Catholique de Louvain, Louvain-la-Neuve). After her studies, she participated to a research project of the Université Catholique de Louvain on social enterprises called ICSEM (International Comparative Social Enterprise Models), which compares social enterprise models and their institutionalization processes in about 50 countries. She is now part of the project city4coEN (collaborative cities for collaborative entrepreneurs), that studies the collaborative economy in the Region of Brussels-Capital. The aim of her contribution is to study collaborative initiatives in the field of user goods, in order to assess advantages and disadvantages of their business and organizational models.
